This is to set up OneDrive for an on-campus Active Directory joined (ds.fordham.edu) Windows 10 desktop 

When you install the Microsoft OneDrive sync app, All of your OneDrive files are available directly from Explorer. The folders will be mirrored with OneDrive, and files will be downloaded as needed. 


  1. Open Explorer and click on OneDrive on the left
    This will Launch the OneDrive setup

  2. Enter your Fordham email address and click Sign In

  3. If prompted, select Work or School

  4. Log in with your AccessIT ID and password
    Complete DUO authentication, if prompted

  5. Click Next, Next, Next, Next, Later

  6. Click Open my OneDrive folder

In explorer, under Favorites, you will now see OneDrive - Fordham University.

Your Documents folder will now the contents of your OneDrive documents folder, similar to the older mapped p: drives.

Files with a cloud icon are available for download.

Files will download to your computer as they are accessed and the icon will change to a green checkmark.
