Connecting to the Guest WiFi using a device running iOS.



IOS (iPhone & iPad) for Guest


 



 Guest Network: Fordham-P login 

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi
  2. Select Connect-Fordham-WiFi. 
  3. Open the Safari browser (do not use any other browser during this process) and navigate to a URL you don’t normally use, such as NPR.org or CNN.com. You will automatically be directed to the Fordham network welcome page. Select to join as a Guest.
  4. Agree to the acceptable use policy (AUP). 
  5. You will be directed to new website. Select Join Now when prompted.
  6. When prompted, allow access to your Settings. click Allow. 
  7. You will be taken to your device’s settings and asked to install a configuration profile, which is a very small file that enables your device to automatically connect to Fordham-P, the public WiFi network. Click on Install in the upper right hand corner to proceed. 
  8. Once installed, click on Done.
  9. Your device will now be configured on the Fordham-P wireless network and you can proceed to access the internet.

*If you have trouble using the network, check your settings to verify that you are connected to the public WiFi network, Fordham-P.

This entire process only has to be performed once. Thereafter, on a daily basis for as long as you use the Guest network, you will only need to repeat step 4, agree to the acceptable use policy.
