Connecting to the Guest WiFi using a Windows PC.


   

Windows Computers WiFi Access for Guests:
 Fordham-P Login

 


  1. Connect to Connect-Fordham-WiFi. 
  2. Open your browser and navigate to a URL that refreshes its content often (i.e., NPR.org or CNN.com. Avoid sites that may be cached on your device, such as Apple.com, Google.com, or Fordham.edu). You will automatically be directed to the Fordham network welcome page. Select to join as a Guest.
  3. Agree to the acceptable use policy (AUP). You will be directed to a new website. Select Join now when prompted. 
  4. A small file will be downloaded to your computer; it enables your device to automatically connect to Fordham-P, the public WiFi network. Once downloaded, open and run the application called WiFi-Fordham-University-Wrapper.
  5. The User Account Control window may appear asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” Select Yes.
  6. The wizard will automatically configure your device and connect you to the guest network
  7. Upon successful configuration, the wizard will display Joined. Select Done
  8. Your default browser will open and will be redirected to www.fordham.edu. You should now be able to browse the internet.

     

* If you have trouble using the network, check your settings to verify that you are connected to the public WiFi network, Fordham-P.

This entire process only has to be performed once. Thereafter, on a daily basis for as long as you use the Guest network, you will only need to repeat step 3, agree to the acceptable use policy
